California native and sports enthusiast Marisa Miller was on hand at the US Open of Surfing held in Huntington Beach, CA to be one of the judges of Hurley's Walk The Walk fashion challenge which donates $25,000 to the winning high school's Art and Music program based on students ability to interpret a line of clothing from Hurley and produce a fashion show.performance. Miller posted to her blog expressing; "I had goose bumps and almost felt emotional, for some reason, just seeing the amazing energy and creativity of such talented young people! I definitely do not remember having that kind of confidence or grasp of creating something that major in high school so I was really inspired!" Miller was later united with actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens and pro surfer Rob Machado.
